BLAKE, ROBERT "BOB" JR. passed away suddenly while skiing in Colorado on Friday, May 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Sr. and Laura Blake, and his daughter Connie. He is survived by his wife Marlene Blake; daughter Terri Blake and her mother Theresa Blake; Marlene's daughter Celeste Cordon; grandchildren Tony and Brittaney Cordon. He was born in Greely, CO, attended school in Dolores, C0, and graduated from Colorado State University's Veterinary College at age 22. He operated Bosque Farms Animal Clinic for many years, moved to New Zealand, then back to Corrales, NM. Bob was an avid outdoors man: hiking, skiing, fishing, and exploring area's history. He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as possible at the family cabin in CO. He devoted much of his life to his family, church, his dog Buddy, and friends. Bob was fun loving, compassionate, humble, and hardworking. He was the veterinarian at Watermelon Ranch Animal Rescue Center and worked with the Race Track of America ministry, among other charities. Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, May 17, at 2:00 pm at Christian Fellowship Church, 3901 Claremont Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
