LEASE, GORDON CARVER SR. was born August 5, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Albuquerque. Gordon Honorably served his country in the US Navy and was an active member of American Legion Post 49. He will be remembered as an amazingly respected man in the auto industry in Albuquerque, where he owned and operated numerous auto dealerships for many years. He then enjoyed working at U-Haul for several years, before his health prohibited him from working any more. Gordon's passion was golf and spending time with his friends. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed. He is survived by his children, Katie Mae and husband Terry, Donna Martinez and husband James, Gordon Jr., Lori Ann Subbert and husband Lonne; seven grandchildren; brothers, Robert Lease and Kevin Hart; sister, Michelle Posey; as well as several other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 3:00 pm, with US Navy Honors.
