PHIPPS, AMY LIU 62 years old, passed away November 2nd at her home in Albuquerque, NM. She was the loving daughter of Marie and Steven Hsu, the loving niece of Winifred Liu, the loving sister of Phyllis Hsu, and the loving wife of Jonathan Phipps. She was the fiercely proud mother of her three sons, Benjamin, Gregory, and William Phipps, and the joyous grandmother of Ripley Marie Phipps. She loved her new daughter-in law, Tammy Phipps, for at last she had a kindred spirit to share her family. She had a life filled with accomplishment, family, and wonderful friends. For many years she was a respected teacher of teachers at APS, teaching them to use technology in their classrooms to advance the quality of education. She is loved and missed, and impossible to replace. "And all the winds go sighing, For sweet things dying".
