CRUTCHFIELD, DONALD LEE The Crutchfield Family would like to announce the passing of Donald Lee Crutchfield. He was born December 7, 1949, and died July 31, 2013. He is survived by his wife La Vonne; sons Troy and Todd; daughter Tracie; and their Spouses Kristin and Jason; along with his nine grandchildren; two brothers; and sister. He had been very ill during the past nine months. We would like to thank all our good friends for the love and support we received during this time. Our sincere appreciation extends to the staff, co-workers and volunteers at the Lovelace Westside Hospital and most recently to all the loving and caring staff at the VA Hospital and Hospice Staff. Without all the prayers, love, and kindness these past months would have been unbearable. Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 9th at Destiny Center off of Northern Blvd in Rio Rancho, followed by a service at Don's (Crutch) final resting place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. It was his wish that any gifts be donated to St. Jude Children' Hospital and Research Center, in his memory. You may do this online. The family will match all amounts given. Thank you all. God Bless.
