AMES-PINO, STEPHEN ALEX age 54, born May 21, 1959, passed on June 11, 2013. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, he attended West Mesa High School and served in the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by his father, James D. Ames; brother, Arthur Allen Ames; maternal grandparents, Emilia Gonzales-Pino, Silvano Nuanes-Pino; paternal grandmother, Dawna Eastman; and godfather Santos Garcia. He is survived by his mother, Nora Marie Pino-Ames; godmother, Virginia Garcia; sisters, Dawn M. Ames, Joanna J. Ames-Romero and her husband Jimmy Romero, Cynthia L. Ames, and Lisa M. Ames; nieces and nephews, Stephen Lee Ames, Emilia Davies, Andrew Davies, Antonio Zamora, Delano Zamora, Klarissa Ames, and Abdul Al-Hassien. He is loved by many friends and family. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 4th St. and 300 Mildred Ave NW. A reception will follow at 12124 Palm Springs Avenue NE, 87111.
