COSTELLO, VINCENT A. Vince was husband to Joan; father to Theresa and her husband Joe Redmond, Karen and her husband Keith Fox; Papa to Lindsey Stair and her husband Drew, to Jamie Cline and Maddie Redmond; and greatpapa to Logan Stair. Vince peacefully passed away at home, with Joan by his side on Tuesday, April 16th. A day after having the pleasure of paying estimated taxes one last time. The 8th and last child of Irish immigrants, he was born in the Bronx, NY in 1932 into humble and challenging circumstances. By the grace of God, he survived all that he encountered. As a young adult, the US Air Force took control of his life and fortuitously sent him to England. There he would meet Joan, his future wife and lifelong love. The Air Force further assisted in their lives and brought them to Albuquerque where they made their home. He never forgot his New York roots as he remained an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan all of his life. He was a great man who worked hard, provided well, loved his family, and generously shared all that he had. It was our privilege to be his family. He shall always be loved, respected, and missed.
