MCCURDY, WILLA D. age 82, resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 21st while visiting her daughter in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was born to R.Y. and Ila Bradford in Stinnett, TX in 1930, and lived each day seeking to love the people around her. Willa was a devoted wife, amazing mother, gifted teacher, and loyal friend. She was also a joyful servant, a mentor to young women, an avid Lobo basketball fan, and a cook and gardener extraordinaire. She's survived by family who adored and will miss her dearly: her loving husband, Gene; her brother and sister, John and Eulyne; her four children: Brad (wife Diane), Sheri (husband Kevin), Jeanetta (husband Gert) , and Suzanna (husband Cliff); her grandchildren, who will miss their Meemo: Killian, Madeleine (husband David), Nathan, Luke, Joseph, Tommy, Stephen, Kim (husband Matt), Dee (wife Jessica), Melinda, Charmaine (husband Marius), Nico, and Gary; her great-grandchildren: Sam, David, Katie, and Sarah; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, her church family, and many, many friends. A service will be held at Hoffmantown Church on Tuesday, April 30th at 10am. Please join Willa's family to celebrate this amazing lady's life.
