STUMP, JAMES E. (JIMMY) Age 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior November 18, 2012. Born February 25, 1932 to Charlie and Nora Stump. Jimmy is survived by his first born children from Nadine, who was a very loving wife and mother, James Monroe Stump and wife Kathy, Debbie Stump, Cindy Flett and husband Tom; three other children by a second marriage include Gina Jaramillo, Junior Stump, and Jean Ann Encineas; collectively 16 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; brother Millard Stump; sister Esther Armijo; brother-in-law Walter Bracken; sister-in-law Thelma Stump; a special nephew Roy Howard, who assisted with many tasks that Jimmy was unable to perform; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Jimmy was preceded in death by Nadine Stump (the mother of his first born children); a son Perry Stump; and grandson James Monroe Stump Jr. Jimmy was one of ten children, his parents and seven siblings went on before him to be with the Lord. This was an incredible loving family of brothers and sisters, all their lives they shared a closeness rarely seen today. How they emulate such compassion and concern for one another is truly an inspiration; especially Esther, who checked on parents and siblings daily; always there to take care of their needs and to keep each informed of how the other is doing. After serving 13 years as a police officer, Jimmy left APD to pursue his craft as a very talented carpenter and mechanic. Unfortunately, diabetes took away his ability to do much physically. Jimmy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place by Riverside Funeral Home.
