UEBELACKER, ROBERT C. JR. LT. COL. USAF (RET) of Albuquerque, NM and formerly of Duluth, MN, passed away in Boston, MA after surgery. Bob was born in Duluth, MN to Robert Sr. and Dorothy Uebelacker. Bob graduated from Denfeld High School in 1966 and the University of Minnesota. He obtained advanced degrees from the University of Colorado and University of Maryland, College Park. He entered the U.S. Air Force and served on active duty for 22 years. He was an Air Force pilot and flew B52's and U2's. He continued to serve with distinction as a civil servant--the last four years as a Systems Engineer in the USAF Space Development & Test Directorate. A devoted husband, beloved son, brother, friend and patriot Bob was a great American whose life was spent in the service of our nation. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Sally; brother Gary; and sisters Diane Boyd, Rita Atkinson and Karen Marsaa. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Cookie, Peggy, Susan and brother-in-law Joe; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends around the world.
