GALLEGOS, ROSENDO (BUDDY) JR. Age 81, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away on February 22, 2013. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his sister, Adela Padilla; sons, Ross Raymond Gallegos and James Richard Gallegos and wife, Annie; grandchildren, Jason Gallegos, Anne Preble, Monique Fellows, Ross Gallegos Jr., Christian Gallegos, Jacob Gallegos, Veronica Gallegos, Andrew Gallegos, Rosendo Gallegos, Catherine Gallegos, David Gallegos, Maria Gallegos, Thomas Gallegos, Elizabeth Gallegos, Robert Gallegos, Joseph Gallegos and Maximiliano Gallegos; and great-grandchild, Sean Gallegos. Rosendo was preceded in death by his parents, Rosendo Ramon Gallegos Sr. and Margaret (Salazar) Gallegos; sister, Mary Wylie; wife, Evangeline (Baca) Gallegos; and sons, Ronald James Gallegos, Robert Alan Gallegos, and Michael Dennis Gallegos. Rosendo was a dedicated father and husband, and was involved in World Wide Marriage Encounter. He was a devout Catholic. He and his wife Evangeline were the co-chairs of Catholic Social Services. He served as a Eucharistic minister who took communion to the sick and shut-ins. Rosendo was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, the Director of Roadrunner Food Bank, and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed woodcarving and retablo painting. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at San Clemente Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 am. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at San Clemente Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at San Clemente Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 pm. Pallbearers will be Rosendo Gallegos, Ross Gallegos Jr., Christian Gallegos, Thomas Gallegos, Jacob Gallegos, and David Gallegos.
