HINSON, PHILLIP M. Age 62, born in Jonesboro, AR on July 15, 1950 but then a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, died Thursday February 21, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother Bonnie Hinson; his children James Hinson and Patricia Hinson (James Allbrooks); grandchildren Taylor Hinson, Tre Lovato, and Haley Hinson; sisters Pam (PJ) Baker, and Suzanne Hinson Howell. He also leaves his longtime love and partner, Diane Moser and her daughters Jennifer, Amy and Lindsey. Phil was preceded in death by his father James Hinson. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, was a Christian and loved his family above all else. Phil lived his life to the fullest in everything he did, and was a strong influence on many people during his life. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. The family wishes to thank the compassionate doctors, nurses and caregivers at the VA Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Phil during his illness.
