SERNA, GLORIA A. beloved mother and sister, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2013. Gloria was born on September 7, 1936 in Cedar Grove, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents Abran and Herculiana Serna and her sister Maria Serna-Cano. Gloria is survived by her devoted son Danny Serna; brother Pete Serna; sisters Olympia Serna, Angie Buckwald, Celia Marino, and Rita Chavez. Gloria was a loving and caring person with a quiet soul, who was loved by many. She was known for her kindness and gentle spirit. Gloria loved to play "Marbles" with her family and was extremely adept at winning. A Rosary will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:30am, followed immediately by a Mass at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
