MONTOYA, LEO Age 84, has been a resident of Albuquerque for two years, passed away February 6, 2013. He was born in Las Vegas, NM and he served his country during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam wars for 26 years, retiring in Fort Walton Beach, FL where he made his home. He is survived by a son, John and wife, Karen; daughter, Sandra of Albuquerque. He is also survived by a sister, Josephine Gonzales and husband, Manuel, and his very caring niece, Cindi Herrera and his niece, Edie Sandoval and husband, Bennie; nephew, Mike Gonzales and wife, Cindi; Manny Gonzales and wife, Monica all from Albuquerque; nephew, Dino Herrera and wife, Mary of Alexandria, VA, Frank Herrera Jr. and wife, Geri of Las Vegas, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Guadalupe Montoya; sister, Rosie Herrera and husband, Frank of Las Vegas, NM; and his older son, Richard of San Diego, CA.
