LOPEZ, TOM E. GABALDON Age 68, the Lord took our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was greeted in Heaven by his mother, Erla Gabaldon and in-laws Tillie and Abel Jirol. He is survived by his loving wife, of 49 years Annie; daughters, Sharon Lopez, Karen and Fred Hernandez, Denise Lopez and fiancee Ray Castillo; sons, Thomas Jr. and wife, Joyce Lopez, Kevin Lopez and fiancee Kathleen Casey Garcia; sister, Linda Gabaldon; brother Bobby and wife, Eloisa Jaramillo; grandchildren, Abel Lopez, who was a great help with the care of his Grandfather, Tony, Ricky and Alicia Hernandez, Casey Lopez, Ray Jr. and Natasha Castillo, Atrelle Quibel-Lopez and little Kevin Lopez Jr., who Tom helped raise, Vincent Garcia, Brittany Garcia; 11 great grandchildren. He was a retired firefighter, EMT and HAZMAT, an avid bowler and karaoke singer. Tom was a 1962 graduate of Albuquerque High School where he played baseball and football. He will be missed for his fun loving personality, he never met a stranger. We'll miss you, Dad! Thanks to NM Hospice and Anna Kaseman Cancer Center personnel for their loving care. A Service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd. SE, on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Cremation will take place previous to the service.
