LOWE, SUZETTE Age 62, a resident of Albuquerque, beloved wife of B. James Lowe and his family and by her many friends died on January 20, 2013. Suzette was born in Eugene, OR. When her father was transferred to TriCities, WA, she attended school in PASCO, WA where she had a flawless attendance record during her twelve years of school. She majored in business and graduated with highest WA State honors for her skills in shorthand and typing. Upon graduation, she commenced work the next day at Hanford Nuclear Reservation as an Executive Secretary. She gained accounting skills and became the Accounting Manager for United Nuclear Services, Inc. She left UNC and traveled with her husband in some of his managerial assignments in Seattle, Birmingham, AL, Madison, WI and finally Albuquerque where she has resided with her husband for the last 18 years. She continued to be active as an Executive Secretary for her husband in his varied consulting activities. She served as the Recording Secretary to the Four Hills Homeowner's Association for several years. She was a world traveler in that she visited China, Peru, Venezuela, and the Azores and Portugal independently. She later traveled with her husband to Mexico, Spain, England, Italy and Russia. Her selfless and random acts of kindness were demonstrated in her passion for sewing over 500 Christmas stockings/neck coolers for our soldiers overseas. She also dedicated herself to sewing clothing for premature infants in local hospitals. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Evelyn Biedel and a sister, Babette of Pasco, WA. She is survived by her husband, Admiral Lowe; a sister, Jeanette Fiore and her nephew, Anthony Fiore of Pasco, WA. Also surviving her are her stepchildren, Steve Lowe, Kimberly Chalkley, Pamela Krieger; daughter-in-law, Leslie Lowe; and sister-in-law, Maureen Lowe. Her many cherished friends include the entire Garrety family of Emmett and Patty and their children, John and Brita, Laurie Riedle, Alfred and Darla Lorber and daughter, Marlene. Very special friends included, Kate Robinson of CT and Patty Fusting of CA. She was widely read and self-educated reading fifty to sixty books a year. She loved Albuquerque and adored her two chocolate labs, Madison and Bentley. A "Remembrance Celebration" will be held at a later date.
