CASTILLO, BERNICE Age 51, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was born in Albuquerque and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Bernice was a very independent lady, who loved her children dearly. She was a 49er fan and enjoyed fashion, music and loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lalo Trujillo. Bernice is survived by her loving sons, Damian and Adam Castillo; her precious grandsons, Jeremiah and Elijah; her loving parents, Fermin and Leonor Castillo; siblings, Annie Lucero and husband Nick, Leah Trujillo and husband Joe; Eusebio Trujillo and wife Polly, Alice C de Baca and husband Ben, Albert Trujillo, Margaret Lucero and husband Tommy, JoAnne Jaramillo and husband Jose; her goddaughter, Melaine Jaramillo; her boyfriend, Anthony Cordova; other numerous relatives and friends. Bernice will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Monday, January 21, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Antonio Lucero, Lawrence Castillo, Adrian Archiebeque, Ron Trujillo, Martin Archibeque and Danny Castillo. Honorary Bearers will be Juan Garay, Victor Archibeque and Chris Medina.
