KINNEY, ROBERT DEAN Robert Dean Kinney, 65, of Sandia Park, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Lawrence Kinney, of Arkansas City, KS. Bob was born on May 31, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri and spent his childhood in Oklahoma and Kansas. He moved to New Mexico in 1981. Bob graduated from Kansas State University in 1970 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was employed as an electrical engineer, retiring in 2007 after a 33 year career with Honeywell. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests, including decades of raising Airedales. His greatest passion in recent years was the design and construction of his dream home in Paa-Ko. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anne, of Sandia Park; son, Bill Kinney and fiance, Rachael Bossow of St. Joseph, MO; daughter, Michelle Davis and son-in-law, Mark of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandson, Jackson Kinney of St. Joseph, MO. Bob is also survived by his brother, Don Kinney of Arkansas City, KS; niece, Jennifer Kindred, her husband, Christopher and their daughter, Addison of Crested Butte, CO; as well as an aunt and uncle, ErlLene and Joe Bozzacco of Youngstown, OH; and a cousin, Shari Norman and her husband, Bud of Oklahoma City, OK. His family and friends will greatly miss him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of the French Mortuary on Lomas. Inurnment will occur in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
