MONAHAN, NATALIE MARIE age 26, died on October 24, 2012, after a long battle with PTSD and eventually heroin addiction. Natalie is survived by her mother Ellen Moore; father Andrew Monahan; and dear companions Christopher Heh and Luca Battaglia. She will be cherished forever as a beloved daughter, cousin, niece, granddaughter, equestrian, and friend. Natalie was born on November 25, 1985, and lived her life with full conviction and without fear. Natalie was a skilled writer, she loved adventure and travel, cuddling with her Pomeranian puppies, art, racing cars, practical jokes, music and laughter. Natalie also had a special passion for animals; she was a distinguished equestrian for many years and won numerous awards for her efforts. She will be missed each and every day and I am proud and honored to have had her as my daughter for the time I did. She has risen from the ashes and is flying with the angels, safe and free. She will always be my baby angel and God I miss her terribly. I love you, Natalie, and forever you are in my heart. Mom. A celebration of Natalie's life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Los Puentes Charter School, 4012 4th Street NW, ABQ, NM. Donations in her memory may be made to the horse rescue program "Walkin' N Circles Ranch" in the east mountains of Albuquerque at www.wncr.org
