MARTINEZ -- PEDRO "MR PETE" Age 82, longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM and beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother, died July 11, 2012. He was born on February 27, 1930 in Albuquerque, NM to Guadalupe Martinez and Sophia Romero. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Catalino; sisters Feliciana, Maria, Amada and Josefita; also grandson Ernest N Ramirez and granddaughter April Martinez. He is survived by his wife Lillian; sons David, Reynaldo, Ernie and wife Arlene, Adolph and wife Valerie, Jason and fiance Linda; daughters Josie Ramirez and husband Nick, Jennie Lucero and husband Richard, Theresa, Lupe Gallegos and husband Castulo and Bernice; special nephew Bernie Blea and wife Tommie; brother Ramon and sister Concha; as well as 33 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three on the way. His greatest accomplishments were his ten children. He helped build the San Martin de Porres Church where he also served as an Usher. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He liked music, singing and played the guitar and accordian. His favorite singer was Pedro Infante whom he thought he looked like. He always had a joke and a smile for everyone. He will be missed by all. Cremation has taken place. Rosary will be held on Monday, July 16th at 7pm and Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 17th at 9am at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW.
