MASCONE -- JAMES C. The son of Loretta and James V. Mascone, James passed away peacefully on June 19, 2012. He follows his parents and sisters, Eileen and Ruth. He is survived by his sister, Ann; brothers, Charles and Richard; daughter, Alice Castell and spouse, Robert; sons, Randy and spouse, Raeonna, Russell and spouse, Patti, and Terry and fiancee, Ruth; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Aviation was his passion, from active duty in an Air Wing in Korea to time in the New Mexico Air National Guard. He had been an aircraft mechanic at Carco Air Service, an Air Traffic Controller, and an accident Investigator for the FAA. He was part of a hot air balloon crew and had several friends in the ballooning community. He was a kind and generous soul and devoted family man. He made friends easily and kept them forever. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm at French-University Chapel.
