HORTON STAMPS -- MILDRED ELLEN Was born on April 18, 1912 in Lorado, Greene County, Arkansas to John W. and Hattie G. (Adams) Horton. She entered into eternal life in the arms of her Savior on June 17, 2012. The family moved to Albuquerque when Mildred was quite young and she lived here the rest of her life. Mildred met Arthur F. Stamps and they were married in 1934. They were never blessed with children of their own. Mildred was a secretary for Savage and Sganzini Insurance and Real Estate. She also held several positions with Albuquerque National Bank until she retired. She was a charter member of the Albuquerque Pilot Club and remained an active member for over 50 years. She was a life-long member of Central United Methodist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; brother, Linley; brother, Lowell; sister, Eleanor; brother, Alvin; and sister, Mary Katherine Little. She is survived by her nephew, Charles Horton and his wife, Cindy and their family; and niece, Carolyn Stuart. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. FRENCH 1111 University Blvd NE 505-843-6333
