MORA -- SARAH Age 68, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012. She was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 16, 1944, to Benjamin and Sarah Baca Griggs. Sarah worked at Sears for over 30 years and has had the joy of caring for her mother who is 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin F. Griggs; and her husband Celso Mora; sister-in-law Rose Bachicha and Claudio Bachicha and sister-in-law Isabel Martinez and Perseto Martinez. Sarah is survived by her family, most of whom live in or near Albuquerque: mother, Sarah M. Griggs; sons, Thomas A. Gonzales and Michael L. Gonzales; brother, Frank Griggs; sister, Susan Boehm of Longmont, CO; sisters-in-law, Reba Griggs, Mary Griego, Alice Mora, Frances Garcia and "Greg" Chavez; brother-in-laws, Larry Boehm, Augustine Mora, Joe Garcia and Lawrence Chavez; daughter-in-law, Annette Gonzales; 13 grandchildren, Estrella Gonzales, Esteban Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Evan Gonzales, Nicole Gonzales, Martina Gonzales, Dominick Mora, Monica Mora, Krystal Mora, Renee Mora, Leticia Mora, Kevin Mora, Alexis Mora; nephew, Taj Yelton of Erie, CO; Nieces, Jackie Griggs, Stacey Griggs Walker, and Brenda Griggs Ellis. Visitation will take place Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Service-Carlisle Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Avenue NE, Albuquerque. Celebrant Father William E. Young Jr. Burial will take place following the service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd., NE.
