RASMUSSEN -- PAULA E. Age 60, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, passed away surrounded by family and friends Wednesday, February 29, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Christopher Kenneth Rasmussen; children, Elena Marie Lenz and husband, Mike, Anna Maria Rasmussen, Benjamin J. Rasmussen, and Tessa Marie Rasmussen; grandchildren, Jakob Miguel and Gabriella Marie Lenz, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Peggy Brown, Betty Coughlin, and Theresa Bocquin and husband, Jim; brothers, Benjamin Brown and wife, Kay and Paul Brown and wife, Jane. Paula was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Michael Brown. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She owned and operated Paula's Pre-School for many years. A Rosary will be recited March 2, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at French - University location, with Deacon Tom Jones reciting. Mass will be celebrated on March 3, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Christopher Kenneth Rasmussen, Benjamin J. Rasmussen, Mike Lenz II, Benjamin Brown, Paul Brown and Michael Roger Deyhle. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Rosary. Paula is a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, Nana, aunt, great-aunt, daughter-in-law, cousin, god-mother, mother-in-law, friend, teacher, dedicated walker, gardener, cook, avid reader, belly - dancer, scrap-booker, artist and collector of "this and that", and guardian angel who will be greatly missed.
