GALLEGOS -- ANTHONY RICHARD (TONY) Age 55, of Albuquerque, NM was taken home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 24, 2012. He is survived by his loving children, Justin and Cameron; mother, Lucille Gallegos; sister, Yolanda Sanchez; brother, Phil Gallegos; nephews, Michael, Joshua and David; nieces, Ashley and Paige. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Feliberto Gallegos; sister, Olivia Juarez. As a young man Tony enjoyed working with his hands and particularly with motors. After high school Tony attended Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute and pursued a career as a heavy duty mechanic. In his leisure time he was an avid hunter and fisherman who could more often than not be found in his beloved Jemez Mountains. As his children grew Tony developed a new passion and that was soccer. Justin and Camy became very involved in soccer and Tony encouraged them and came to love the game as well, even coaching the Cobras Team. Tony had many friends who will miss him and we all cherish memories of him. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, March 2, 2012 at Calvary Chapel, 4001 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, NM.
