OLIVO -- MARIE A. A resident of Albuquerque since 1970, was called home on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy and daughter-in-law, Bonnie; son, Joey and daughter-in-law, Joan; adopted son, Gary Pyland; sister, Denise Selby; brother, Frank Selby; four grandsons; one great-grandson; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Marie honorably served in the US Navy as a nurse. She worked at UNM Hospital for over 30 years, where she retired and she also belonged to the Lion's Club. Marie Olivo's celebration of life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 6200 Gibson Blvd. SE. this Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are being accepted at the NM Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE.
