MOYA -- ERLINDA GARLEY 1911-2011 Age 100, was called "home" on November 27, 2011. In February 1930, she married Castulo Chavez Moya. Castulo died in 1986 after 56 years of marriage. They had six children. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Amada Sanchez; brothers, Henry, Eloy, Johnny, Joe Salo, Ross, and Silverio; three of her children (Ramoncita, George and Arthur); along with many other loved ones. She kept these members of her family always in her heart. She is survived by her children, Castulo (Cass) Jr. (Anita), of Caballo NM, Guadalupe (Gil) Duncan, Martin Moya, daughter-in-law, Vangie Moya, all of Bosque Farms, and Erlinda Moya of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rose Mary (Pablo) Villafuerte and Larry of Las Vegas NV, Mary (James) Oliver, and Mack of Caballo NM, Thursday (Paul) Malec of Colorado Springs CO, Artie, Cathy, Bernadette (Martin) of Albuquerque, Yvonne (Gino) Storey of Los Lunas, George (Brandy) Moya of Bosque Farms, Angela, Consuelo, of Albuquerque, Annamarie (Roger) Schuering of Houston TX, Manny Perea of Bosque Farms, Michael (Anna Marie) Perea, of Albuquerque, Caroline (Jim) Wood of Crestview FL, Chris Duncan, Las Cruces NM, Jennifer Duncan, Honolulu HI, Andrew (Michelle) of Elkhart IN, Phillip, Patrick, Amber, Andrea Moya and Laura Moya, all of Bosque Farms. She had 23 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Jo Moya of Belen; brothers, Bobby Garley of Belen, Stanley, and Joe Garley of Albuquerque, and Clifford (Criselda) Garley, of Los Lunas; sisters-in-law, Dolores Garley of Belen and Merryl Garley; along with many nephews, nieces, relatives, and close friends. She was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Peralta, a member of the Altar Society, the Legion of Mary and the Monday Blue Army Rosary Group. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta: Rosary on Wednesday, November 30, at 7:00 p.m. (viewing at 6:00 p.m.) and Mass will be on Thursday, December 1, at 10:00 a.m. with the viewing beginning at 9:00. Burial will be at a later date. The family requests no flowers, but requests Masses for Erlinda at the parish of your choice or you may call Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Peralta at 869-2189.
