THOMPSON -- HAROLD THOMAS Of Tijeras, NM, passed on the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Aztec, NM, on April 25, 1924, moved to Albuquerque in the mid to late 1930, attended Albuquerque High and on to the University of New Mexico. Harold enlisted in the Army Air Corp. and served gallantly in the European Theatre, including all five of the major battles of WWII. After the war, he returned to Albuquerque, married his high school sweet heart, Jacyne Langseth, raised three sons and built a successful career in the dental supply business. In the 1970's Harold retired and started a new career in real estate where he continued to be quite successful and active as head of his own firm until his death on Sunday. Harold is survived by his sister, Wilma Pearce; his three sons, Tom, Gene and LeRoy, their wives, children and grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Tijeras, 11820 Hwy 337, Tijeras, NM. Then a brief Graveside Service will be held at 12:45 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. He will be greatly missed.
