WEBER -- HENRIETTA Age 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. She was born on May 10, 1918 in Tuckahoe, NY, the middle child of Clarence Wycoff and Hazel Seaman Kouwenhoven and was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma Savage and Ruth Swett. Henrietta and her first husband, John C. Kiefer, Jr., raised their family in New Hyde Park on Long Island. After his death, Henrietta married Charles J. Weber and moved to Albuquerque in 1968. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Ackerson and Jeanne Kiefer; stepchildren, Jack Weber and Mary Howard; step-grandchildren, Kelly and Paul Weber; and several great-grandchildren; special niece, Joyce Swett; cousin, Virginia Furman; and long time friends, Ethel Shepard and Anna DeMaggio. Henrietta was an enthusiastic dancer, golfer, swimmer and bowler, and the life of every party. An 11th generation New Yorker, she lived much of her life not far from the Kouwenhoven 1635 homestead. A service for Henrietta will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011, 3:30 p.m., at French - Lomas Chapel, with visitation starting at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice de la Luz or Joy Junction.
