JOHNSON -- DELIA D. Passed away on September 7, 2011. She was born August 15, 1918 in Mississippi and attended Mississippi School for the Deaf. Delia was an active member of various associations for the deaf at National, State and local level. She leaves behind her spouse of 71 years, Vannie L. Johnson; one daughter, BJ Thrash; two beloved grandchildren, Cynthia Randall and husband Jack and their children, Alessandra and Benjamin, Brian Thrash and wife Rachel and their son, Alexander. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for our beloved mother and grandmother to be announced at a later date. She was our rock and anchor and will be missed terribly.
