GRIEGO -- TONY R. 67, left his earthly home on Thursday, September 8, 2011. Tony was born in Albuquerque in 1943 and was preceded in death by his parents Max and Ida Griego and by seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Elsie; three children, Carrie Silva and her husband Scotty, David Griego and his wife Wendy, Joyce Lewis and her husband Preston; adoring grandchildren, Theresa and her husband Daniel, Andrea, James, Matthew, Keith, Thomas, Marisa, and Nicholas; his brothers, Steve Griego, Eddie Griego and his wife Gloria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends including, his best friends, Lody Duran and Ralph Torres. Tony was a willing servant, who never refused anyone that needed his help. He was a skilled craftsman who could fix anything. Tony also loved trout fishing, especially at Fenton Lake, but his greatest passion was his family. He will be missed so much by those who he left behind, but we take great comfort in the solace of knowing that we will someday be reunited in the presence of our Savior. A Service honoring the life of Tony R. Griego will be held at Albuquerque Bible Church, 320 Montano Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107 on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
