WIEST -- IDA Went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2011. She joins her beloved husband, Jodie in Heaven. Ida was born on October 25, 1922 in Seymour, Texas and was a resident of El Paso until her death. Ida was one of the first female bank officers in the states of Texas and New Mexico and worked in banks in Alamogordo, Lovington and El Paso. Ida is survived by her only child, Edward R. Wiest and his wife, Roxanne of Albuquerque. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two step - grandchildren - Heather Crocker and husband Drew of Fredericksburg, Texas, Travis Wiest and wife Emily of Dallas, Texas, JC Wiest of Boise, Idaho, Samantha Rivera of Albuquerque, and Paula Procida and husband Josh, of Harrison, NY. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren - Cabel and Chloe Crocker, Jackson, Mia and Maggie Wiest, and Devon Wiest. Ida will be laid to rest alongside her husband Jodie and mother, Lillie Pearl Daniel in El Paso, Texas at the Evergreen Cemetery in east El Paso.
