GALLEGOS -- LAWRENCE H. Age 71, died peacefully at home Wednesday, August 17, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was employed at Ed Black's for 20 years and by Classic Paint and Body, until he retired at age 62. Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Moises Gallegos and by his granddaughter, Rianna. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susie Gallegos and their loving children; Linda Gallegos, Ron Gallegos and wife Ruby, Randy Gallegos, Connie Tapia and husband Peter, Rick Gallegos and Betty; his mother, Beatrice Medina; grandchildren, Randi Gallegos and fiance Angelo Martinez, Ricky Gallegos, Lawrence Tapia, Michelle Tapia and fiance Martin Salazar, Reyes Tapia and Reyna Tapia; step-grandson, Brett Dylla; great-grandchildren, Adrian Tapia-Salazar and Luciano Martinez; brother, Alex Gallegos and wife Mercy of Albuquerque; several brothers and sisters from Colorado; brothers and sisters-in-law, who loved him like a brother; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial Services will be held at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 21, 2011 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE.
