GARCIA -- LUGARDITA (LAURA) Age 100, a life long resident of the Los Griegos area of Albuquerque, NM passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her children, Elva Bonham, Betty Bryant, and Leonard (Freddy) Garcia and wife, Stella; grandchildren, Emily Rush and husband, Doug, Rick Aragon, Donald Bryant and wife Dede, Cindy Tyler and husband, Greg, Claudette Horn and husband, Bill, and Stephanie Alvillar and husband, Cesario; eleven great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her husband, Fabricio Garcia; daughter, Irene Aragon; sons-in-law, Orlando Aragon, Terrell Bonham, and Gene Bryant; and sisters, Louisa Garcia and Melina Sanchez. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Gabriella Nieto, reciter. Final visitation will be on Thursday, August 18, 2011, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Father Joe Vigil, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Garcia, Carl Sanchez, Tommy Perez, Leroy Garcia, Cesario Alvillar, and Rick Aragon. Honorary pallbearer will be C.J. Alvillar.
