HUGHES -- MAGDALENE "MADGE" PIERCE A resident of Albuquerque since 2000, died peacefully on August 7, 2011 at age 87 surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter Patricia and husband Robert Kaup of Albuquerque; her daughter Dianne Hughes of Fort Worth, TX; her son James Hughes Jr. of Albuquerque; her dear friend George Watson of Hanford, CA; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Madge was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hughes, Sr. and her grandson Jeffrey Kaup. Madge left her many friends in Hanford, CA, in 2000 to live with her family in Albuquerque. She was a delightful and fun lady who loved all her family and friends. Madge was a member of Monterey Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place and services officiated by Dr. Claude Cone were held at her church on August 9, 2011. Interment will take place in Hanford, CA, at a later date.
