FIUMARA -- FORTUNATA NETTIE was born June 16, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. She passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 92. Nettie was preceded in death by her father, John Fiumara; her mother, Catherine Fiumara and by her sister, Josephine Diprima. She is survived by her brother, Dominic Fiumara; siser, Mary Arrobas; nephew, John Diprima; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Nettie will be remembered for her beautiful singing, her cooking, and for being such a compassionate and giving person. Visitation and Services will be held at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE., on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. The Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
