SANDOVAL -- Rosario (Rose) Sandoval, 93, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rose is survived by her children, Leo Gonzales (Lee), Leah Tompkins, Frank Sandoval (Belinda), Christine Gutierrez (Steve), and David Sandoval (Sheila); grandchildren, Bernadette, Gregory, Clifford, Steve, Jamie, Anita, Paula, Alex, Justin, Stephanie, Jennifer, Caleb and Jonah; great-grandchildren, Angela, Reanna, Gregory, Francesca, Gabriel, Joshua, Isaac, Patrina, Shawnia, Autumn, Stephen, Brianna, Mario, Dorian, Brooklynne, Blake and Kaiyah; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Sisters, Fannie, Grace, Dora, Minnie and preceded in death by Inez, Irene, Alice and brother, Paul. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Andres in 1997; parents, Jose and Eduvigen Mares. Rosary and viewing will be held at St. Judes Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM 87114 on Wednesday at 7:00 PM with a dessert and coffee reception immediately following in the Parish Hall. Funeral mass services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 on Thursday, May 19th at 9:30am, followed by Interment to be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, support and prayers that we have received. We would also like to say a special thank you to the staff at Beehive Homes and the staff at Hospice of the Sandias for the wonderful and loving care that they gave to Rose.
