LINN -- Barbara Linn, 80, passed away on May 13, 2011. Barbara was born in Amarillo, Texas on August 3, 1930 to Elmor Dale and Bonnie Belle McCullough. She married Kenneth Linn in Amarillo on June 24, 1950 which was the beginning of 60 wonderful years together. Barbara was active in PEO, an honorary lifetime member of the PTA, and established the first elementary school library in Amarillo. She was an avid reader, knitted countless sweaters and afghans and donated many of them to fundraisers and various charities. She took great enjoyment from her family, bridge clubs and her lifelong friendships. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Linn. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Key Shepard and her husband, Jim of Albuquerque, NM, Laurel Jones and husband, Jay of Shallowater, TX, Lisa Clements and husband, Bill of Katy, TX; a son, Kendall Linn of Duluth, MN; one brother, Dale McCullough and wife, Martha of Katy, TX; a niece, Debbie "Scooter" Ross and husband, Myron of Spicewood, TX; ten grandchildren; and one great- granddaughter. Barbara never met a stranger, was adored by all whose lives she touched, and will be missed by the many people who loved her.
