JENKS -- Florence Jenks blessed our lives with her genuine caring, warmth, humor, and courageous free spirit. Florence passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15 surrounded by family. Born on August 22, 1929 in Philadelphia, Florence was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Goldie Ovrutsky; and her brother, Isadore Ovrutsky. Florence is survived by her children, Belinda, Michael, Isaiah, and Rachel; her son-in-law ,Niall; and her three grandchildren, Emily, Hannah and Joseph. She leaves us with great memories of her beautiful artwork, innovative recipes, out-of-the-box ideas, and her love for trying new things and meeting new people. Graveside service to be held on Thursday, May 19 at 11:00 am at Fairview Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM, under the wide, blue sky that she loved so much.
