MEDINA -- Bill Anthony Medina Sr. "Pops", age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, born on July 15, 1950, went to be with our Lord on March 30, 2011 while surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in San Louis, Colorado to Marcos and Estrella Medina, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his ex-wife Audrey Medina-Estrada; five children, son Bill Anthony Medina Jr.; daughters; Kamelya Medina, Amanda Medina, Marla Medina and Christina Medina; three grandchildren; D'vyne Medina, Jose Andrade and Elijah Medina. He leaves behind lots of cousins, nieces, nephews, family members who love him and will miss him; three brothers Carlos Padilla, Marcos Medina and Joe Medina; and many friends including Richard Theado "ABC". Bill will be remembered for his kindness where he was always lending a helping hand to all he met and the spunk of using a wrench when fixing a car. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at 5:00 pm, at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. A Mass was held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 11, 2011 at San Francisco Mission Church in San Luis, Colorado.
