SEILING -- Arthur J. Seiling, born April 3, 1919 in St. Charles, MO died March 4, 2011 in Monticello, NM. Proud veteran of WWII, Art fell in love with the southwest during basic training at Fort Bliss. He moved his family from Berkeley, MO to Albuquerque when he went to work at Mountain States Mutual Casualty Co. in 1958. Art spent as much time as possible exploring around NM. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Seiling in 1969. Survived by a loving sister, Virginia Plummer (Tom); son Joseph A. (Skip) Seiling (Reta Rogers); daughter Peggy McCorkell (Rusty); three wonderful grandkids, Jake McCorkell (Amanda), Jodi Gates (Todd), & Jyp McCorkell (Kara); and nine extra special great-grandkids: Tierra & Trail McCorkell, Kree, Kye & Kade Gates, Jada & Sylus McCorkell, and Kendal & Wyatt Kelly. A Gathering will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011, 10:00 a.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Committal service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
