RIDER -- David J. Rider. With great sorrow, we announce the passing of David J. Rider, 72. Dave died suddenly of complications following heart surgery on Jan. 28, 2011. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Deanna; sister, Delores; daughter's Cheryl and Lenell; son-in-law Jake; grandchildren, Faith, Gabriel, and Aubrey; and his faithful friend Cinnamon. His parents Glenn and Marie; sister Deanna; and son Mark preceded him in death. Dave's family and friends knew the depth of his love for his country that he proudly served for over 40 years. His family and pets meant the world to him as well as his wonderful neighbors, buddies in the modeling world, and restaurant friends. He will be forever loved and dearly missed. A military service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in California at a later date.
