JOHNSON -- CAROL JUNE JOHNSON NOVEMBER 2, 1941 - JANUARY 30, 2011 Our Beloved Mother went home to our Lord and Savior on January 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father Dennis A. Scrivner and wife Georgia; her mother Mary Jewel Penn and husband Elvin William; and her brother Dennis N. Scrivner. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Philip H. Johnson; her sons, Frank W. Nunn and his wife Lucy, Bryan H. Nunn and Michael H. Johnson and his wife Charlene; her brothers-in-law Johnny Johnson and his wife Nancy, Gary and his wife Gloria; and sister-in-law Thelma; Carol is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister and best friend Alveta Morgan and her husband Charles; her nieces Anita Greenwalt and her husband Jim, Kathy Hill and her husband Gary; She also is survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on November 2, 1941. She was working at a Bakery when she met Philip, and on September 1, 1964 they were married. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church with her family, which was her passion to have not only her family, but also friends to follow Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "There were never strangers in our Mom's eyes, just future friends waiting to be discovered." Her funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m., at Riverside Funeral Home.
