MALDONADO -- Emma S., age 78, a resident of Jarales for the past 23 years, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on December 15, 2010 following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings. Emma is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Johnny; daughters, Judy Bergamo and husband, Ed, Margaret Rael, Bridgett Maldonado and Alice Laurie Gallegos; and her sister-in-law, Mary Maes; She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren, Ronnie Sandoval, Sam Bergamo and wife, Amanda, Gabriel Rael and wife, Melanie, Misti Rael-Chavez and husband, Eric, Traci Medrano and husband, Michael, Antonio Rael, John Serna, Nick Gallegos and wife, Tess, Jose Rael, Matthew, Sarah, Amanda and Paula Serna; plus 19 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, at 9:00 a.m., on Monday, December 20, 2010 with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Sandoval, Sam Bergamo, Gabriel Rael, Antonio Rael, John Serna, Jose Rael, Matthew Serna and Mario Trujillo.
