ATKINSON -- Fred Atkinson, 73, a member of the Tsimshian tribe of Alaska and an Albuquerque resident, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Mr. Atkinson was born in Ketchikan, Alaska on September 5, 1937. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Atkinson of Albuquerque; daughters, Karen Atkinson of Washington, D.C., and Laurie Goodluck and husband Dr. Kevin Goodluck of Albuquerque; grandsons, Kalen and Forrest Goodluck, both of Albuquerque; brother, Robert Atkinson of San Mateo, CA; sister, Darlene Morrison of Ketchikan, AK.
