TRACY -- Patrick T. Tracy passed away on November 19, 2010, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Laramie, Wyoming June 21, 1950, to Carl and Kathleen Tracy. The family moved to Colorado Springs when he was five . He graduated from Wasson High School in 1968, and Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. He earned a degree in turf management. Prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1986, he was the Golf Course Superintendant at the Baca Grande Resort near Alamosa, Colorado. After moving to Albuquerque, he worked at the Albuquerque Academy. He eventually started his own landscaping business, Narrow Leaf, with his partner, Thomas Brasby. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his two children, Mattheu, son, and Kessei, his daughter. He is also survived by his mother Kathleen, of Colorado Springs; his sister, Phyllis Powell (Tom), of Windsor, Colorado; brother, Mike of Lakewood, Colorado; sister, Marsha Atchley of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl. A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 21 at 1 pm.
