MARTINEZ -- Robert S. Martinez, born March 14, 1951, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2010. Robert spent his early childhood years in Mora, NM and then became a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents Policarpio and Hilaria Martinez; brother Gilbert; and sister Nora. He is survived by his wife Lydia; son Gabriel and girlfriend Carson; daughter Melissa; son Carlos and wife Mandi, grandchildren; Charli and Oktavian; sisters, Dora Saenz, Evelyn and husband Jimmy Chavez, Georgia and husband Joe Montoya; and sister-in-law Theresa. A viewing will be held on Monday November 22, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church followed by a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral mass will be on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Tony Williams, Charles Martinez, David Martinez, Joe Chavez, Joe Chavez Jr., and Gabriel Garcia.
