CASTELL -- Richard a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 18, 2010 after his battle with cancer. He was retired from Albuquerque Police Department after 29 years of service and was currently working for Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office as a domestic violence investigator for the past four years. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara June Martin and survived by his wife Anna; children Desiree, Victoria, Rick (Barbie) and Lesa; grandchildren Danielle, Joshua and Matthew; his father Charles Martin, sisters Kathleen, Jeannie and brothers Michael, Robert and John; as well as many friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 7pm at French Mortuary on University Blvd. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Parish on 6th and Copper at 10:30am, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park.
