IKEDA -- Robert "Bob" M. Ikeda, a resident of Albuquerque, 75, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010. He served honorably with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired after 21 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force he was employed at the Albuquerque Publishing Company and proudly retired from there. Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Oralia "Lucy" Ikeda; one sister, Mary Kuwahara; three beloved sons, Robert Ikeda, Steve and his wife Debbie Ikeda, and Danny Ikeda; one beloved daughter, Debra Ikeda; nine loving grandchildren, Liza and her husband Justin Teo, Danny Ikeda, Nicole Ikeda, Madelyn Ikeda, Lesley Ikeda, Steven Ikeda, Jennifer Laster, Kimberly Laster, Michelle Laster; and four great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Mariah, Darrien, and Justin Jr. Bob was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be sorely missed. Bob will be laid to rest, Monday, November 15, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetary. You will always be our sunshine.
