JANSAK -- Anne Christine Jansak, 88, a resident of Longmont, CO, died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Applewood Living Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Jansak. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Jansak of Santa Barbara, CA; a son, Eugene Jansak and spouse Barbara, of Longmont, CO; a grandson, John Bassist; a granddaughter, Joy Ann Trust; and four great-grandsons; David, Bryan, Daniel and Brendyn. During WWII, Anne worked tirelessly manufacturing submarine parts in support of the military then continued a 30 year drafting career in the electronics manufacturing industry. After retirement, Anne volunteered her time driving and leading hiking trips with the Palo Duro Senior Center in Albuquerque, NM. After moving to Longmont, she continued to volunteer time at St. John The Baptist School and at Longmont United Hospital. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and friends. Interment will take place Friday, October 29, 2010 at Highland Cemetery in Thornton, CO. A memorial service is planned for November 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church at 323 Collyer St. in Longmont, CO.
