TAPIA -- Carol Jean "Jeanie" Tapia passed away quietly at her home with loved ones on Wednesday morning, Sept, 15th, 2010. Jeanie was born November 28, 1955 in Gallup, NM and was proud to call NM her home for most of her life. She is survived by her two daughters, Bernadette Gabrys and Jolene Gutierrez; her long time love, Allen Wade; her six granchildren, Tarah, Ashley and Melissa Gabrys, and Alex, Dominic and Jonathan Gutierrez; her sons-in-law, Walter Gabrys and Anthony Gutierrez; as well as three siblings; and several neices and nephews. Jeanie always had a positive attitude and was always willing to lend a hand or her last dollar to anyone that needed it more than her. She was a loving and forgiving woman that has taught us all how to live and love. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
